CALIBRATION LAB

Measuring Standards (Weights)
- In-House Calibration: Mass pieces ranging from 1 mg to 20 kg are calibrated at our laboratory.
- On-Site Calibration: Accredited for mass calibration on-site, covering weights from 20 kg to 5,000 kg.
- Adjustment Services: Mass pieces can be adjusted to meet specific requirements or conformity standards upon request.
Weighing Instruments
Our calibration process includes comprehensive testing for accuracy and linearity, with before-and-after readings to ensure the reliability of your equipment. These readings allow you to assess if pre-calibration errors could have impacted your measurements.
Our calibration services go beyond basic measurements. We ensure your equipment operates at peak performance with the following:
- External and Internal Cleaning
- Corner Load and Eccentric Adjustments (where applicable)
- Accuracy and Linearity Tests
- Repeatability Measurements

Our accreditation allows us to conduct verification and repair services in full compliance with the Legal Metrology Act, Legal Metrology Regulations, and Legal Metrology Technical Regulations, including SANS 1649 and SANS 1697.
